A consultant, David is a multidisciplinary communications practitioner serving the needs of government, education, business, advocacy and non profit organizations. Widely experienced in the design, development, generation and delivery of a broad range of information, communication and learning programs, materials and tools, he has served in a variety of communications planning and advisory roles, including project management, facilitation and administration roles.
Employed by a key government environmental stewardship advisor board, a federal agency responsible for national parks and historic sites, as well as a major educational television network, David brings extensive experience developing education materials, as well as a background in media, stakeholder and intergovernmental relations. An award-winning writer, he has worked in both Canada and the United States to develop and produce a wide variety of educational television programming, including nationally broadcast series on subjects as diverse as literacy, substance abuse and childhood learning.
David maintains abiding interests in issues of social entrepreneurship and humanitarian aid, and is pleased to now be devoting his time and energies to the cause of vision impaired people in the developing world. Married, with two children still at home, he brings a vast array of experience to Global Vision 2020.
